I have been involved and loved in racing my whole Life! It started at an early age with my Father taking my brother and me to Ransomville Speedway on Friday nights. It didn’t take me long to realize that I loved the speed, sound, smell and excitement of Racing!!! At the age of 14 I started racing 3 and 4 wheelers at Paradise Speedway and Kelly’s Motors Park but.
1992 - I met Don Martin from Youngstown, NY that’s when my Racing knowledge exploded and we hit it off to say the least! At that time Don was racing Sportsman’s at Ransomville, Merrittville and Humberstone and anyone that knows Don when it comes to working on his race car it must be perfect no exceptions!!! During this time he won multiple Track Championships and Races and then moved to the Modifieds with success.
1997 -I got into Snowmobile Grass Drag Racing using everything I have learned in life and racing to this point. It started out small but grew to where I was racing throughout the northeast with the Haulmark Grass Drag Series, COSRDA Grass Drag Series in Canada, other races and even some Asphalt racing. During this time I made a name for myself winning both the 1000 Improved Stock and 800 Improved Stock Championships multiple years, The Woody’s Top Gun Shootout, wins in many other supporting classes and held both the ISR record for ET & Speed in both the 1000 Improved Stock and 800 Improved Stock. With my success I was able to get the help of both corporate and leading names in the sport sponsorships. Polaris Racing, Woody’s Traction (International Engineering), Tekvest, Hot to Go Racing. After seeing the sport start to have some issues by not listening to the Drivers and Owners I made a tough decision to sell out while on top, this was not easy to do but it was time!
2017 – For many years I have traveled all over the Country with friends and family going to NASCAR, Dirt and WoO races. Did I ever tell you about Eldora??? Funny story…lol Anyway, a close Family friend named Joey Stearns and I were talking racing one day and I told him I really like these 600cc Micro Sprints I had been following. He said I have a longtime friend that will get you going in the right direction! He gave me the phone number of “Mr. Micro” Danny Knoll Jr. I made a call to Danny one day and well the rest is history as they say. With tremendous support from my Wife Brooke and two daughters Alexia and Torryn I purchased my “Midlife Crisis/Bucket List“a used Hyper. I have since been rebuilding the car from bare frame up with the help and huge support of my Family (Especially Robert Lewis & Randy Librock!!), Chad Fritz at ERT Racing Engines, The entire Hyper Racing Crew and Danny Knoll Jr. that will have me prepared for my 2018 campaign.

Experience/background: 2018 makes year 10 since I started racing. Started racing 125 micros at age 10 at paradise speedway. Multiple wins and 1 track championship. Also have multiple wins at Limerock speedway in the 125 class. Began my 600 debut in 2015, only making half of the tour shows. However picked up 2 wins in the amateur class at Paradise. This is my 2nd year racing full time with the NY6A. Last year we picked up 2 wins (Sprint to the Cure) and many top 10 finishes. Finished the 2017 season 5th overall with the tour.

I grew up around racing my entire life with my Father racing at Weedsport and also working as a FLAGGER at "The Glen."
I noticed the 600 sprint class about 10 years ago and QUICKLY saved up the money for my first 600 car. It was an older car and i didnt do so well in it. 5 flips in 5 weeks and an incredible head on to the wall crash at Weedsport destroying the car. The Hendrix race team had the car ready for the next race each time.
I also had a chance to pilot my Fathers #5 270 car at Paradise and in PA and owned a Sportmens Mod for a short time. I decided after the learning CURVE and having 3 sprint cars in the garage i would purchase a HYPER Chassis and the rest is history. We have produced some amazing Hypers and all of the cars are still proven winners. One having 5 championships! I was blessed to have the chance to loan my recent car out to a good friend due to motor blowing after a win, the following night they took another win in MY car!
We are looking forward to competing this 2018 season and Hope to make some GREAT MEMORIES!!!!
